Victor Mancini
Hello, I’m Victor. I’m a creative problem solver with experience in Montreal and Toronto, Canada, as well as Sydney, Australia. With over 10 years of design experience, my journey began in Industrial Design, where I learned the fundamentals of design thinking and honed my ability to create solutions that are not only user-centred but also make business sense.
From a young age, I was captivated by the endless possibilities of creation. I would spend hours building and rebuilding with Lego, determined to bring my ideas to life. This passion for creation naturally led me to a career in Industrial Design. Over time, my focus shifted from tangible products to digital experiences, where I now apply my skills as a UX Researcher and Product Designer.
My work is deeply rooted in active listening and ethical design practices. I strive to create solutions that are inclusive, thoughtful, and impactful. Driven by a desire to make a positive difference, I approach each challenge with curiosity and resilience, constantly asking "why" and embracing a growth mindset.
Over the years, I have gained recognition for my work through design competitions, awards for work projects, and numerous speaking engagements.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I thrive in the outdoors, whether it's the steady rhythm of a good run, the serenity of a hike, or the adrenaline rush of snowboarding. My love for nature fuels my passion for sustainability, as I believe in preserving the environments where I find so much joy. Team sports hold a special place in my heart; I enjoy the camaraderie and teamwork that it fosters. When I’m not moving, I love exploring new culinary experiences with my wife, we’re both passionate about cooking and trying different cuisines.
Travel is another passion of mine. I love immersing myself in local cultures, savouring regional specialties, observing daily routines, and visiting museums to further connect to local history and cultural significance. My diverse interests outside of work greatly influence my design philosophy, allowing me to approach my work with a greater sense of empathy and understanding and enabling me to forge meaningful connections with people and places.

I started running during the COVID-19 lockdown as a way to stay active, and over time, it has become something I genuinely love. Running not only helps me stay grounded but also allows me to connect with the outdoors and challenge myself in new ways.
